Solution: No, the program was created to run in internal
drives only on Windows and Macintosh. |
Issue: I chose Network Playback during the Windows install but it
doesn’t work properly. OR I receive an error about geometry.exe -49 (or
whichever program you are running) |
Solution: The
Network Playback option does not function properly. The only option is to run the program from
the CD-ROM. Editorial has been
informed but there is no known update timeframe. If you choose Network
Playback during installation you need to run the setup again so the program will
run from the CD-ROM. To do it: 1. Insert the CD-ROM.
If the program begins, exit it. 2.
Double-click
on My Computer, right-click on the
CD-ROM drive, and then left-click on Open. 3.
Open the Support folder and click the setup.exe file. 4.
Choose CD-ROM
playback and click OK. 5.
Now when you
insert the CD-ROM the program should automatically begin and run from the
CD-ROM. |
Solution: There
will be a 3-D cube in lower right corner, click on Activities. This will take you back to Main Menu and
there is an Exit button. |

WINDOWS |
Issue: When I double-click the start-up icon, nothing happens. |
Solution:
1.
If you
installed the program to run from the CD make sure the CD is inserted into
the CD drive. 2.
Quit any other
programs that are running, including screen savers and anti-virus. 3.
Try launching
an entirely different CD program (not a Glencoe CD) to determine if there is
a hardware problem. 4.
Go to your CD
drive (usually D: or E:) and double-click the desired
execution/application file in your file listing. |

drives, etc.) are connected. 4. If your CD-ROM drive appears from within the
utility program, select the Mount command. If the steps listed above
